A Bag of Wonders

Hello and welcome to another episode of “which excuse does Penny need to go shopping?”.. If you’ve answered, “hardly any” then you are correct. Sorry, no prizes.. Pfft, please.. The answer was too easy.

So I took a trip to [Entwined] and :::Le Primitif:: and did some “emergency” shopping. I mean, what’s a girl to wear these days? When everything else fails, go for the little black dress! And I did.. I’m so in love with one.. and I’m starting to think I use that phrase a little too often. Oh well.
I’m also wearing this fabulous bow from -Buttery Toast- which has an even more amazing name.. PENNY! XD
Coincidence? I think not 😉

Baby, it’s cold outside..

Ever since last winter, I’ve just been waiting for an excuse to visit all the snowy sims ^^ I absolutely love the prettiness and avoid the cold that comes with real life snow.. Not that we’re having any here so far.
So what do I do when I visit these sims? Well.. Today it’s been a mixture of simply exploring, taking pictures, skiing, ice skating, and finally but certainly not least, sit in front of the fire with my husband. There’s just something about a fireplace, even virtual, that brings warmth and comfort when the snow is slowly falling outside.

Mama’s Pearl…

Hi Ya’ll ♥ and sorry for my recent absence.. Today is gonna be a little quick update since I haven’t been on Second Life much at all the past week. To fill you all in, I started finding out that my mom was sick, then I got sick myself and then my mom went to the hospital. I know, lot of sickness, lot of mess.
But it’s means that I’m currently spending time at my parents house, helping my dad out with everyday stuff. God knows what the house would look like if he had to do it all on his own.
Anyways.. I’m not gonna get all personal here, but now you know what’s happening in case you’re following this little blog and you’re wondering, “hmm wherever did that Penny person go?” —-> here I am.

And now time for a little story.. well, more of an “apology” really. Some time ago, I offered Amelie to move into my Linden home. My husband and I weren’t living there anyways and I feel good knowing that a friend is able to use it. But once in a while, I’m either too tired, or like today, doesn’t have enough time to find a location, and then I’ve popped over to use the house.. So Amelie.. Umm.. sorry for the breaking and entering ^^

Sparkle

I’ve been switching skins a whole lot of times lately depending on my mood and outfit of choice, and I’m truly happy to see so many talented skin designers show up recently..  Browsing Facebook yesterday, someone had put up a link for a nearly free skin from [chickadee] that I just had to try out and it’s just too cute not to blog about ^^
Taking a chance, I IM’d the creator and you’ll be seeing a lot more of her stuff here on the blog ♥ tysm Fate.. (that’s her name btw.. not thanking fate here.. lol)

It took me forever to assemble an outfit that I really felt like clicked when I remembered the kimono from Offbeat.. it’s been sitting in my inventory since Amelie and I went to the Okinawa Summer Festival and I finally get to show it off 😀

Cry Me A River

Sometimes I feel like I miss out of a lot of great pictures on Flickr.. Of course when you’re following a lot of people, you’re only exposed to the most recent and then you accidently fall over others at a later time. I was lucky as to fall upon this picture uploaded by INSITU Genetics, and was instantly inspired to make this look.. Granted, it’s a little more risky than what I’d usually put out on the blog, but you know what they say.. As long as nudity is done artisticly, then it’s Aokaaaaaay… Did I succeed?

The Red Fox

When I look out the window or go outside, I’m so happy to see and feel the cool air on my skin.. Summer is nice and all, but the fallen golden leaves is my favourite sight during the year.. It’s time to put on a little more clothes and get those sweaters out from the bottom on the closet.. Yeah, I know.. we’re still in August, but a girl can dream, right?

Silver Linings

On a day to day basis, I do try to see the good in things around me.. Is it easy? No not exactly, and I most likely fail more than I succeed. I’ve always admired those who can say “pish posh… there’s always tomorrow.” And yes, I have a very british inner monologue going on.

But since I was in a silver kind of mood, I decided to make a post with this cute little dress by Mag. It can be found at the second round of Trend Fashion Fair along with 3 other other colour choices.
There is also a matching pair of stockings with slink appliers that follows, but that decided not to wear for this particular post.
